Alicja

Growing up in Poland, I never imagined doing anything other than creating art. I graduated from Fine Arts High School in Gdynia and, after finishing school, spent a few years exploring the world. I lived in Paris, hiked to Everest Base Camp and eventually arrived in the US as an au pair where I stayed to complete my college education. I earned a Studio Arts degree from Nazareth College in Rochester NY, with concentrations in art education and printmaking.

I started this studio in 2019, and it has grown steadily ever since. In 2022, my husband Matt left his job to join me full-time. Today, we work together from our home studio in Vermont, enjoying daily walks in the woods, gardening and listening to plethora of podcasts.

Every piece that leaves the studio is hand made and painted by me. When time allows, I enjoy experimenting with new ideas and firing up my raku kiln. Our personalized collection has been inspired by my love for calligraphy. What began as a small offering quickly grew into the most popular part of the business. The most rewarding part of my work is knowing that the pieces I create become part of your celebrations and everyday routines.

Matt

Once Matt joined the studio, our production increased threefold. After completing a slip-casting course in Denver, Colorado, we added a new variety of personalized items to our shop. He is also responsible for glaze mixing and maintaining our kilns and studio equipment.

Matt is our master shipper and takes great pride in every package he sends out into the world. Nearly every Etsy reviewer mentions how carefully our products are packaged.

Outside of the studio, Matt is a self-described 'gearhead' who enjoys motorcycle rides and tinkering with old cars, currently restoring an e36 BMW. His newest hobby is producing dub reggae. He dreams of retiring on a tropical beach, somewhere he'll never have to touch snowplow again.

Mary Jane aka Mom

In high school, my sculpture studio always had cats, and I knew that once I had a studio of my own, I'd make sure to get some. Meet Mom, she's deeply attached to her humans, loves curling up next to the hot kilns, and watches our every move. And if there's a set of freshly made platters, she'll find a way to make herself comfortable right in the middle of them.

Biscuits

Sweet Biscuits was adopted alongside her mom and is the first kitten I've ever had, and I am completely in love with her. She's my emotional support cat with the cutest face, wickedly smart, and if there were an Ivy League for cats, she'd have a full scholarship.
